Centre Jig for Marking/Drilling Shafts for Inserts
Made from solid steel bar to our own design this jig is of great assistance when inserting forward weights in wooden shafts when you need to adjust the foc/flight trajectory of your arrows.
It is quick, accurate and easy to use. A real timesaver.
The shaft is located in the jig and then centre drilled with a 3.5mm drill bit from the opposite end.
As can be seen the samples in the photo show the general idea where drilling has taken place and steel weight inserted. For larger weights and diameters once the initial 3.5mm centre hole has been made this can be enlarged (without using jig) as example shown above where more weight is required when rubber blunt is fitted to shaft.
The second photo shows full length shafts drilled to accept 2" long 78g bar (6 fitted)
Only the jig is for sale not other items in photo. Available for 8mm, 9mm or 10mm shafts.
If you require a jig for a specific diameter other than listed above please contact us as this would be a special order item.
